Yea I just invented that right now. I have no inspiration again and I'm utterly bored here and dying to go home! So here's some pics that I encountered in my loooong hours of browsing random sites that made me smile or caused some sort of reaction :D Hope they will do the same for you.
Think you have too many freckles? Just look at this girl! And in spite of it, she's still a gorgeous redhead. Who wants traditional pretty anyway. It's always the same stickthin beachy blonde with big knockers and a tan body, it's getting boring, there are so many different kinds of beauty out there. Same goes for men. We don't need you (I don't anyway) to be supertall and muscular and tan and atlethic and thin. Sometimes the most gorgeous people are the ones that don't fall in that stereotypical beauty box, you gotta have that something I think. :)
How I felt in secondary school ! Usually people are either good at languages and learning things by heart, or maths and science and such. I am the former for sure, maths just confuses me. I understand the basic formulas, but when you get deeper into it, I just go huh? wtf! And don't even get me started on those insane problem solving questions, I just do NOT get those! Luckily the other part of my brain works very well. I love languages and history and writing, but maths? Not for me.
This really made me laugh. These birds really are freaking everywhere, and they are possibly the most stupid birds on the planet. I don't know how many times when driving I had to brake and wait for a dumn pidgeon to stop eating and get out of the way. No wonder so many get run over. You're lucky I love animals and brake pidgeon. Better not get me killed by swerving for you stupid bird.
RUN FORREST RUN! haha
I don't think I have to tell you what this looks like? Yuk, microwave food is really disgusting.
Not the mermaid you were looking for
Can someone please explain the US to me?
Awkward. But I think most of us have experienced the trying not to look like a single lonely loser moment while surrounded by "love".
Original way to apologize, although I'm sceptical about the outcome :D
And to finish my random Thursday with a bang, here's a Jesus joke.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Another weird moment at the embassy! Had an Iranian doctor here yesterday who wanted to get a visa for his mother and sister to go to Ireland, where he works. They were all nice enough, and I was my sweet enchanting self, so all was well. I sent them an email later in the day explaining them how to proceed with their visa application. I just got an email back this morning, saying thanks for all the help and "my mother would like to invite you for dinner in a restaurant to eat with us to show her gratitude, would you like to accept?".
Picture me staring at the screen, feeling slightly awkward. Maybe it's a culture difference, but in Belgium people generally don't ask random people out for dinner, especially not young women when you are about 40. Perhaps I seemed like an elligable bachelorette for her doctor son. Slightly puzzled on how to respond now, don't want to seem rude. Awkward.
Also wondering how his mother and sister would communicate with me on said dinner, they don't speak of word of English, only Iranian. I'm quite multilingual, but Iranian is not on my list of languages. So I'd have to talk to the man the whole time, with his sister and mother watching. Curiouser and curiouser indeed.
In the words of Jack Sparrow: "I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request. Means no."
In other news, I was right about the train being hell last night. Not only was there another big delay, half an hour extra on it, but the temperature was staggering. No airco, so it was like a tropical greenhouse in there, 40 degrees for sure, so everyone was sweating like mad. The whole, sweat is pouring down your chest, melting literally, kind of heat. And to be in it for 2.5 hours, wow, did I want a shower when I got home! I felt like I just had a sexy time marathon, with all the sweat and exhaustion, but none of the pleasure. And tonight more of the same -_-
But not to worry, tomorrow will be cold again, so I can complain about being too cold then ;)

Michele Bachmann Formally Enters The Race For President In 2012
In November 2009, this blog was established with the purpose of seeking to enlist Michele Bachmann to run for president in 2012. At the time, very few people dreamed that Michele Bachmann would run or that she would have a prayer of becoming the Republican nominee. Well, today Michele Bachmann announced that she is formally entering the race for the presidency in 2012. Not only that, but she is absolutely surging in the polls. The more America sees of Michele Bachmann the more they seem to like her. Most of the other Republican presidential contenders have seemed very hesitant to stand up for conservative values, but Michele Bachmann has shown over and over that she is not afraid to take on Barack Obama head on. When the liberal media attacks her viciously it just seems to make her stronger. It is going to take someone with a strong spine to defeat Barack Obama in 2012, and that is exactly what Michele Bachmann has. America is facing some very troubled times right now, and it is going to take a strong leader to turn this country back in a positive direction.
The following is video of the speech that Michele Bachmann gave in Iowa to announce that she is formally entering the race for president. As you can see, she is full of energy and she is ready to give everything she has to win in 2012....

Summer is here
Summer has definitely arrived here in Belgium, boy is it hot today! Yesterday it was a good 27 degrees by the coast, where I live, which is nice and warm, but bearable. Today here at work in Brussels it's a whopping 32 degrees, and I'm absolutely melting. Naturally, as is the Belgian way, it'll be 19 degrees again by Wednesday. Heat here is a lot more unbearable than in usual hot countries, it's very stiffling and it's like a big weight falling on top of you, it feels a lot hotter than it is. I'm already burned from yesterday, stupid celtic skintype.
It sucks to be stuck here at work on such a hot day, there's feck all to do anyway. I want to be in the garden under the big parasol, eating water melon and drinking wine in my bikini whilst reading a book. Perfect summer afternoon. But no, summer holidays are over for me, I'll never have so much time off again, not until I retire. And with the current changes to the pension age, I'll probably have to work till I'm 70 0_o* , fun.
I'm going to die on the train tonight. If another morbidly obese person decides to sit next to me again on that tiny bench I'm going to explode.
It's been a long time since I felt heat like this here in Belgium, but that's probably because I live by the coast, it's always a bit cooler there and there's the sea breeze. Here in the middle of the country and in the big city, it's like a sauna. And the dress I'm wearing is not light enough. I want it oooooff! But that would probably raise some eyebrows. I'm now sure I am going to die in Australia, where it will be even hotter. I should probably bring a giant sombrero hat and one of those tiny fans.
And to all those mad people lying in the glaring sun for ages, how on earth can you stand that!! You're going to end up looking like this:
Your tan doesn't seem so appealing now, does it ;) ?
I have way too long hair too, and lots of it, so it's like having a giant blanket on my back.
Sigh!

Weird, unforgetable day.
Its been a weird day today. There was nothing that could be called normal.
Now that I have been doing things too much on impulse, I should actually stop dreaming about simpler, less complicated life. Not to forget that I pretty much slept the whole day due to the fact that I was awake the whole night yesterday and having not eaten anything today. Little sleep deprived and hungry.
On other hand my friends are graduating right now, I am in bed having the most weird feeling ever. I cannot to be happy for them, nor there is any point being upset about it.
Life is pretty much gonna change. And I am scared. Scared that I will be left alone. Also I have too many things to figure out. Uff, not a good day at all.
Just waiting for my exams to get over so that I can go home, away from everything and everyone. On the happier note there is only six days left for that.
A wierd, unforgetable day. *sigh*

180 Nootrenbadhu Movie Talk from Premiers
Performances by all were Good and obviously Sid Steals the Show
Movie based on Life Philosophy
First half was cool with a nice interval bang
Second half narration was very slow
Cinematography Top Notch
Editing seems to be OK
2 songs are good on screen
Ppl who convinced with the subject can enjoy the movie but there are lots of questions on the theme itself.
Situational Comedy was goot at times
On a whole its one time watchable for performances and visual treat.

Friday five
Kate from Kate as of Late regularly makes Friday fives posts and invited people to join her in writing about five random things that pop in your head and would like to share. As I don't really know what subject to write about today, I thought I'd join her Friday Five posts.
So here you go, my Friday Five's:
1. At last the working week is over! Right now I'm fed up with going all the way to Brussels and this week just has been very busy and stressful, so I can't wait for a relaxing weekend! And very much looking forward to going out tonight with the girls for some birthday celebrations. We'll also be talking about our trip to Spain, which is in September. Still a while away, but I'm really looking forward to it, as it's been a whole year since I've been anywhere. And I do love to travel. But yay, tonight party fun time. And possible tomorrow! I'm on a roll here.
2. Everything is now in order to go ahead and book my flight to Australia for December! I have my visa card, and I checked with my boss if I can take the time off, and I can! Checked the flight, and it should costs me just over 1500 euro, which is quite a lot but o well. I'm not a big spender and I like to save up, so spending that much at once will hurt a little! But I'm super excited about it, and I can't wait to see Perth and surroundings and hang out with my Aussie friends. My mom is not too fond of the plan, she says she'll be worried about me the whole time and thinks it's way too far, but my mom is very protective, and I'm sure I'll be perfectly safe. YAY Australia ! I feel superadventurous doing this on my own, and it's going to be so great to spend xmas and new year in the sun on the other side of the world, and get away from everything at home. Hope I don't fall in love with the country too much, or I might not want to go home :D
3. Almost summer sales! Finally I can use the money I got from my parents for my birthday and get some nice things! I'm going to need loads, a lot of my summer clothes could use some updating and I need to get a few bits and pieces for my travels as well. It'll be hot in Spain and even hotter in Australia, so I could use some really light things. And some more work clothes. As it's an embassy, I like to look presentable. But I'm not a very casual wear type of person anyway, you won't see me in a pair of trainers. I'm quite girly, I refused to wear trousers when I was three, and for years after, because trousers were too boyish haha. Unless the trousers had flowers on them, then it was ok :D I got over that though :p Although I still wear a lot more skirts and dresses than trousers.
4. No more new episodes of all my series ! :( I'm very fond of tv, as it's my way of relaxing after a looong day at work, and now that summer is here, all the series I was watching have ended until autumn, so I'm stuck to watching random things on the discovery channel and animal planet. But True Blood is starting their new season in a few day, sos hooray, at least one thing, and I do love True Blood (not just because of the sexy vampires I swear ;), it's a very exciting series, although there's quite a bit of nudity and blood and gore. But I'm no prude, and I love the books as well.
5. I've run out of things to say umm. Seriously getting bored here, not much to do this afternoon. Been amusing myself by answering questions on Yahoo answers. Some of the questions are quite hilarious I must say, it really shows you how weird/dumb/uneducated/pervy people are.
Here are some examples:
The Gandalf one I found particularly funny :p
Have a great weekend everyone!

Scary man
Only just got in this morning when the excitement began! The doors that lead into the embassy (these giant vault-like doors) were all open wide because there's works on the roof all day and the workers can't use the entry card the whole day to get in and out. Me and my German co-worker just got in when suddenly this man appeared, he just walked right into our office! Who does that? It clearly said outside that we weren't open to the public until ten, and it was pretty obvious that people aren't supposed to just walse right in our office. German colleague said we weren't open until ten, which he said wasn't correct as he said he checked our website and it said nine. She answered, understandably agitated by this annoyed man in our office, that he was incorrect and it should definitely say ten.
Then he got really pissed off and said to my colleague to not take such a rude tone with him and not to get impolite and that he wasn't going anywhere until we checked the website. I told him he wasn't supposed to be in our office, that the doors were open for workers, and that there's a room for the public which opens at ten. He yelled some more and said to just check the website. He just stood there arms crossed and looking very aggressive, I was quite shocked and not so at ease. We have bulletproof glass seperating the public area from our office, so we're always pretty safe from possible psycho's, so to have this man in our office was quite a scary experience. Of course the website said ten o'clock and not nine. We pointed it out to him, and he was suddenly flustered and said 'oh I thought I read nine, I'll come back later.' and then he up and left. Pretty relieved about that! He already had gotten really aggressive over the phone and through mail with my colleague, so it wasn't a one time bad mood. And I was just told he was really rude to the receptionist downstairs as well. Phew. We closed our door after that!
Exciting morning that's for sure. Very busy today, but I thought I'd tell you all about my dangerous encounter :D! Looking forward to the weekend already, everyone is going on holiday and there are soooo many visas to be done on top of everything else I have to do. Phew, I need a break. But I only have twenty two days off a year and I have to save everything up for my trips, most of it anyway. Have taken one day off since I started working here six months ago. It sure is tough I can tell you, so I hope the trips will be worth it!

Another year older!
Today I'm 24 years old! Time sure has flown by! Just comes to show that you shouldn't delay everything or worry too much, life is short, waay too short, so sometimes you got to step out of the comfort zone, nothing special will happen sitting in your couch dreaming of it! It's good to take a little risk sometimes, who knows how things will turn out, if you never try you'll never know I always say. You can't have it all, but you can sure as hell try.
So what did I do for my bday? Well today I've been mostly working my ass off! It's so freaking busy today, I've been running around back and forth all day and going through massive paperwork. Not how I prefer to spend my birthday :P I sure could use a thorough massage after all this workstress! Now that would be a good present ;)!
But my boss remembered my birthday, which was really nice, she got me a really nice cake, and a cute little booklet to stick pictures in. Really nice. Due to the busy day it was kinda rushed though, cram in cake and back to work! But I'm glad there was some celebration of my day of birth!
And I indeed went out last weekend! For a moment there I was worried I wouldn't be able to, as one friend asked to move it to next week, and then one other said it would suit her better too, so it was all falling to bits! But it turned out great, as I'll now have two birthday drinky nights! I moved the original festivities to next Friday, and went out to dodgy Oostende (city by the coast) with my primary school friend and had a blast dancing and of course drinking. I hadn't seen her in a gazillion years until I met her at the hair salon last year, she's a hairdressr. Since then we've been going out again, and I have a great new old friend.
There's quite a bit of crime in Oostende, especially in the street with all the bars, there's always a copcar, and often fighting. Hence the dodgyness. I always feel like I'm going to the Bronx, whenever I'm there, so I don't go there that often :D But it was my birthplace, so I guess it was suitable to celebrate my birth there ! Good times were had anyhow. Next Friday hopefully less dodgy surroundings :D
Did my nails too as I mentioned, very happy with it, although it took two whole hours, boring as hell. But I love having such nice nails for the first time. I've always hated having chewed up nails, but I couldn't help it, damn hard to stop doing it. Now I can't bite, so hopefully this will help kicking that annoying habit!
Phew almost time to go home, finally, this was a damn hectic day, should have taken the day off. Oh in other news my trial period is up and I now have a permanent contract, hooray. And I think i'm pretty good at my job, I really got the hang of it, and judging from the hectic state of old account records, I'm better than the last person. So yay me.
Tonight more cake! And blowing some candles, better think of a good birthday wish.

Almost 24
Monday I'll be 24 , so this weekend I'll be celebrating with probably a certain amount of alcoholic drinks! I can definitely use it, I've had a rough week, and I need to let my hair down and get a little confidence boost. Possible I might go dancing, I love to dance, but to my annoyance every place plays this techno music and I really can't dance to that! So hopefully I'll find a place with good music where I can shake my moneymaker.
And I'm getting my nails done woo! First manicure ever :D I've always wanted prettier nails, as I bite them, and stubs aren't that pretty. So when my mom told me about her co-worker's daughter doing nails for cheap, I thought why not! It would be fun, and will help with the confidence! And who doesn't want to look extra sexy for their birthday celebration! Hooray, pretty hands. Expect hand pictures in one of the next posts :D
Although typing might be annoying as I've never had long nails before. And thanks to exercising and less snacking I got rid of the desk job belly, so hooray, just in time for summer.
Besides that I don't have anything big planned, hopefully I'll get cake, unfortunately no presents yet :( Sales are coming up and I'm going to need quite a big amount of new clothes, for work and for my travels, so mom suggested we go shopping then and I pick some things out for my birthday. Which is nice, but means no presents on birthday itself and no unwrapping. I do love to unwrap. But maybe my brother will get me something!
So birthday will remain unsurprising and not that amazing as usual hah! But I suppose that's for most people.
You all have a good weekend now, and if any of you are going out as well, let's all make a toast:
But no beer for me though, I don't like the taste of beer, too bitter, sweet femine crap all the way!
As the Irish say
