Kristen Stewart hurtled by Vampire romance "Twilight"...

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart hurtled by Vampire romance "Twilight" to the kind of fame that can turn a life into a roller coaster ride, so it seems appropriate that Stewart' new movie revolves around an amusement park.

This week, Stewart's Film, "Adventureland," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, is one of a string of quirky movies Stewart, has starred-in since her 1st film at age 11.

But none of those movies ever brought Kristen Stewart the sort of attention Kristen has received the last two months since "Twilight" struck gold at box offices with more than $324 million worldwide since its November debut.

In twilight movie, Stewart portrayed Bella Swan, a love-struck teen adored by millions of young girls after they began devouring the series of books on which the movie is based.

"Adventureland" is a coming-of-age movie about a recent college graduate named James, played by "The Squid and the Whale" star Jesse Eisenberg, who takes a summer job at an amusement park.

There, he falls in love with a tortured but sincere young carnival worker named Em Lewin (Stewart) and finds that true love is an adventure in and of itself...

Kristen Stewart "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else; we already had him (Taylor Lautner )"

Kristen Stewart twilight bad taste taylor LautnerKristen Stewart tells MTV News "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else; we already had him!" "I didn't understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it's set, we can all rest."

Taylor Lautner, 16, was worried he wouldn't be rehired because his character, Jacob Black, is totally different in New Moon: Taylor Lautner's a foot taller and is supposed to look 25. So Lautner's packed on about 26 pounds of muscle.

Stewart says. "He's really buff!" "He definitely is. It took him a lot of time." "really excited" to shoot New Moon later this year.

"It's such a machine now. All of a sudden, this movie has become [something bigger]," she says. "With all the expectations — usually, you make a movie and think, 'If it touches people, great; if it doesn't, then you move on to the next one, and no one's personally affected by it.' [But] everyone's really sensitive with any changes right now.

"Everyone needs to be on the same page to make the same movie [as the original Twilight was]," she goes on. "Or else it will be a very disoriented project."

Kristen Stewart has faith in new director Chris Weitz. "Chris is — on top of him being a really sweet guy — he is entirely devoted," Stewart says. "And he's very clearly not doing the movie just because it's the next big thing. He really likes it a lot."

Kristen Stewart rides roller coaster of fame

Twilight series theories Kristen Stewart Comic conKristen Stewart to the kind of fame that can turn a life into a roller coaster ride, so it seems appropriate that her new movie revolves around an amusement park.

"Adventureland," which premiered this week at the Sundance Film Festival, is one of a string of quirky movies Stewart, She has starred-in since Stewart' 1st film at age 11.

But none of those movies ever brought Kristen Stewart the sort of attention she has received the last two months since "Twilight" struck gold at box offices with more than $324 million (232 million pounds) worldwide since its November debut.

In the movie, Kristen portrayed Bella Swan, a love-struck teen adored by millions of young girls after they began devouring the series of books on which the movie is based.

Kristen Stewart is a child of Hollywood - the daughter of a stage manager and a script supervisor - and Stewart' LA upbringing provided a close up view of fame that has helped her handle the 3-ring media circus of Hollywood celebrity.

Stewart told Reuters at Sundance. "I grew up on a set," "I don't take it as seriously, and then at the same time I take it more seriously than anyone. It's like a balance."

"Adventureland" is a coming-of-age movie about a recent college graduate named James, played by "The Squid and the Whale" star Jesse Eisenberg, who takes a summer job at an amusement park. There, he falls in love with a tortured but sincere young carnival worker named Em Lewin (Stewart) and finds that true love is an adventure in and of itself.

Miramax Films will release the movie in March, following its premiere at Sundance -- the No. one United State gathering for independent film. At the festival, a quirky and offbeat love story like "Adventureland" can gain the kind of media attention it needs to lure audiences to box offices.

"Adventureland" director Greg Mottola, who made 2007 hit comedy "Superbad," said he has counselled Stewart about handling fame and fortune because the microscopic scrutiny by the media can be overwhelming for a teenager. "I think there are some people who have some innate movie star gene that lets them just walk into that, like a George Clooney," he said. "But it didn't happen to him when he was that young. So I feel for her, that's a really hard thing."

Kristen Stewart may be young, but She already is something of a veteran and appears to handle the media glare well and she wants to stay active in Hollywood. Already Stewart has 16 movies on her filmography including "Panic Room," "The Cake Eaters," "Into the Wild" and "What Just Happened." Her first role was 2001's "The Safety of Objects," about suburban families whose lives intertwine.

With upcoming roles as rocker Joan Jett in a biopic and again playing Bella in "New Moon," the next instalment in the "Twilight" franchise, Stewart said she has no immediate plans to attend college."Not now, maybe if I can grow up a little bit," she said. "But not yet, I can't. It's just I've had a lot of demands put on me for quite a long time."

Kristen Stewart - fr The Yellow Handkerchief to Adventureland at Sundance

Yellow Hankerchief 2008 Sundance Kristen Stewart PortraitLast year Kristen Stewart came to Sundance as just another actor. Stewart was here for the small film “The Yellow Handkerchief,” which has yet to have a wide release, as is the case for many films shown here. It’s actually part of the charm.

Then Kristen Stewart started working on her next project (maybe you’ve heard of it?), which catapulted her into super-stardom with young girls everywhere. This year, here to debut “Adventureland,” a film in which she co-stars with Jesse Eisenberg, the experience is a bit different for the young actress. When we caught up with Stewart yesterday, the “Twilight” star, Kristen Stewart specifically described the difference in the level of paparazzi she’s noticed here on this go round.

Stewart goes on to talk more about the Sundance experience, and what she thinks about all the actors and celebrities who are here for — or not for — festival films.

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson being loved up on screen.

Kristen StewartRobert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart might not be officially dating in real life but that doesn't stop them being loved up on screen.

Pattinson and Stewart chemistry has left many Twilight fans wondering if they both of them are going to do an Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt thing and hook up.

Pattinson has decided that the time is right to explain the secret to his chemistry with Kristen stewart in Twilight.

Robert Pattinson told to Press: "It was strange...I mean, all the scenes are pretty intense. And when you're working with one person most of the time, especially on a relationship that seems impossible when you first start, you get into a little bubble.

"And I guess it's about him trying to intimidate her. And her looking at him with just nothing but love and adoration and awe, as if this god has just come down to meet her.

"But I played it as the god is, like, broken at this normal girl's feet. And I'm the wreck, and she's really strong. And it's supposed to be the other way around.

"I think that's why it kind of worked. I mean, I kind of wanted something like that. I think it makes it sexier as well, if there was a very real chance of him just flipping out at any time and killing her."

Kristen Stewart - New Moon

Kristen StewartKristen StewartKristen Stewart and New Moon Twilight...

The film adaptation for New Moon is scheduled for release sometime in November of 2009, with a tentative release date of November 20, 2009. It is based on the novel and is the sequel to 2008's Twilight, which is also based on the novel written by Stephenie Meyer. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, which will be directed by Chris Weitz, with Melissa Rosenberg returning as the screenwriter. The draft for New Moon was handed in by Rosenberg during the opening weekend of Twilight. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reprise their roles as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a teenage girl and a vampire who fall in love, as will Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black.

As you know New Moon Novel is a young adult fantasy-romance novel by author Stephenie Meyer. It is Meyer's 2nd novel in the Twilight saga. This book, unlike the previous entry, is about losing true love. It was originally published in hardcover in 2006.

New Moon rose to the #1 position on the New York Times Best Seller list for Children's Chapter Books in its second week on the list, and remained in that spot for eleven weeks. It spent over 30 weeks in total on the list.

Kristen Stewart - Has Bigger Role

Kristen StewartKristen StewartKristen Stewart... Luckily, Twilight is still ranking in big bucks at the box office, but the real drama is taking place behind the scenes of the sequel New Moon, which has an expanded fifty million dollars budget and is set to start filming in March, 2009, according to reports. The Twilight in and out is incredible drama and some claim that both young stars Stewart and Pattinson will have bigger roles.

It makes sense as both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart create buzz wherever both of them go and a report from Life & Style claims that Summit Entertainment has announced The Golden Compass director Chris Weitz will replace director Catherine Hardwicke at the helm of New Moon, the movie based on the second of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling vampire novels.
